Configure your 'Mech and optimize it to crush your opponents. Challenge yourself with 20 single-player missions and get prepared for the ultimate multiplayer online experience.
Mechassault is all about one thing, multiplayer. As one of the most watched Xbox Live launching titles, Mechassault will focus on the online gameplay more than anything else. A dozen powerful BattleMechs are available in “Mechassault,” each with massive firepower. Mechassault features complete destruction on a level never seen before – everything in the world can be destroyed bit by bit.
Destruction is the key to Mechassault. Virtually everything in the mission your in will be fully destructible from buildings to the ‘Mechs themselves. Helping the destruction of the city are a dozen well built and designed ‘Mechs that have the capabilities of destroying everything that stands as a force in their way. Each ‘Mech will have a unique design and come with different firepower and capabilities for fights. You can also customize your ‘Mech to your own liking with options such as changing your ‘Mech’s outfit, different firepower and jump jets are available.
This fall arrives the launch of Xbox Live and the beginning of completely new capabilities for video games will occur. After the launch, Microsoft and Day1 will have Mechassault upgrades ready for you game. You must have Xbox Live enabled in your house in order to receive the upgrades for your game.

This fall arrives a new wave of gaming. Microsoft is going to be one of the first to take a bold step into the cold waters looking for success.
